Gordon in Ireland the photo in Irish Horse Quest to encourage you to buy him
In case you are worried this is Gordon one year later - 2015
Day 1 2014
When he arrived from the Ferry after an all nighter across Ireland and then onto the Ferry to us a non stop journey of days.
It was a Gordon Bennett moment when he got off the Lorry hence the name !!
Day 3
Medicated, sedated and clipped carefully avoiding weeping skin and bones. He was covered in muck and sweat soaked long hair and he smelt and although he needed more rest I was worried about maggots or worse.
Month One - Not quite sure what is going on but eating lots of hay and taking it all in
Month Two - A quiet start at learning some things
Some shape and muscle and strength beginning to show
First sit on July 2014
January February 2015 Out with his friend Hugo for some thinking and growing and getting tubby
Then a bit of a blip I come off hard and Gordon has a little melt down so he is off to Matt Hicks for more school space and lots more turn out
I get to ride the lovely Lisso for a week or two to remind myself that I can actually ride and Ali rides Gordon to get his confidence back
Back on board with out needing any help
Pole work and walking with friends and learning skills
Earning his living modelling Bits and Bridlework
Then a move to Charlotte Smiths yard to be nearer home and for some more skills and some competing
