This website is the work of Hilary Vernon who has over the last 26 years worked as a full time Bitting Clinician travelling over the U.K and parts of Europe and the US consulting, lecturing and demonstrating the art of Bits and Bitting.
Hilary has spent 35 years in the Saddlery trade having revamped the National Bit Bank which is where she developed her skill for Bit design.
She is also a qualified Riding Instructor, Saddle and Bridle Fitter , Equestrian Author, Horse owner and keen Rider.

Snaffles for Dressage

Horses differ greatly in age, sensitivity, conformation and level of training, and each of these factors must be carefully considered.
